Which Public Restroom Should A Transgender Child Use?

This article tells the story of a poor little transgender kid in the USA who has been told by her school that she has to use the boys toilets or the staff toilets and is not allowed to go to the girls loos.  As if having to deal with transgender is not difficult enough!  I’m not sure why a school would be so inflexible to such a young child and such descrimination from this early age is likely to have a serious impact on the child’s mental health.  What do you think?  Do you think this is is fair of the school or is it straight descrimination.  Let me know your ideas in the comments section below.
