Marriage Counselling
At The Affinity Centre we offer marriage counselling at the Cheadle centre.
Marriage counselling can help in a number of situations if your relationship is stuck.
- One of you may have had an affair.
- You may feel that you are not as close as you used to be and want to rekindle your connection.
- Children may have come along altering the dynamic of the relationship significantly.
- You may feel content in the relationship but want to get even closer to your partner.
Marriage Counselling availability
We offer marriage counselling during the day and in the evening. There is flexibility in appointments and you won’t have to wait a long time to be seen. Just contact us on 0161 282 0259 to book an appointment or fill in our contact form.
What types of Marriage Counselling do you offer?
At The Affinity Centre we offer the more traditional type of marriage counselling where you and your partner will talk more to the therapist and Imago Relationship Therapy where you will be supported in talking to each other.
The Affinity Centre is one of the North’s most prolific Marriage Counselling training centers for therapists so many of our marriage counsellors are highly trained in Imago Relationship Therapy.
If you’re not sure what type of therapy would work best for you please just ring the centre on 0161 282 0259 and ask to talk to Ian or Joanna. They will help you make that decision.
Are there any alternatives to Marriage Counselling?
If you want to improve your marriage but don’t really want marriage counselling you could attend the “Getting The Love You Want” workshop. This is a weekend workshop aimed at helping you build a closer relationship with your partner. It involves listening to Ian and Joanna talk about how relationships work, carrying out exercises with your partner and drawing up a plan of what you want your relationship to look like.
You will learn safe ways of talking to each other and by the end of the weekend have a plan for moving forward in your relationship.
