Grieving Cory Monteith and coming clean about addiction
Whether you are a Glee fan or not the tragic death of such a gifted young man as Cory Monteith touches all of us. Dr Stephanie Smith writing for Your Mind Your Body is refreshingly honest when she says that even though it is over a fortnight since he died from an overdose of heroin and alcohol she still doesn’t really know what to say.
Actually she does sum it up rather eloquently. Stating that life is short, that the death off someone we know even if it is just from our TV screens can be very painful. Finally that substance abuse can happen to anyone; any family, any circle of friends.
