Finding Calmness by Moving to the Heart

When you are battling stress and anxiety how do you deal with it? Often  with commitment and responsibilities  comes stress and it’s not easy to get past those feelings says Victor Schueller.  When you have a stress response to a situation your body reacts by  causing your heart rate and breathing rate to increase. Our digestive system and immune system are also compromised while we are in this stress response.

Victor suggests that to break out of this cascade of events it is useful to stay present and refocus on positive feelings you have experienced in previous times and shift these feelings to your heart.
