Who I Work With
I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds offering long and short term sessions either face to face or via video call. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, trauma, low self- esteem and relationship breakdowns.
My approach is to listen and encourage the individuals I work with whilst providing a safe and secure environment to help empower clients to work towards a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I am a person- centred counsellor with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis.
During our sessions I offer
- A safe, confidential and non judgmental environment.
- A place where you can both challenge and explore your thoughts, experiences and emotions.
- A supportive relationship that will encourage the development of personal growth.
I strongly believe in the powerful effect counselling can have on individuals. At times it can be quite challenging to express our emotions with those closest to us and share with them the difficulties that we may be experiencing. I offer a neutral space to explore any kind of issue, and in an environment that is safe, supportive and confidential.
I believe that counselling can have a profound effect on an individual. From my experience it is a privilege to be trusted to help and support someone through life’s difficulties. Watching my clients evolve through the process and find solace in their life is extremely rewarding.
I charge £45 for an hour session. I am an individual member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics and professional practice. I also regularly attend supervision sessions, I am fully insured and hold a DBS certificate.
