If you are reading this you must have reached a place in your life where you are looking for change in your world. Maybe you are currently feeling stuck or lost or uncertain and having a space to talk would make a difference, help you to gain a better understanding of your situation and explore your difficulties. The quality of our relationship is essential for change and I offer a space for you to talk in a non-judgemental, confidential and compassionate environment. You will be able to explore your world safely and at your own pace to move your life towards what is important for you.
As an Integrative Counsellor I work with a variety of approaches to help you focus on how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours impact on what you do and the life you experience. My approach will be shaped according to your individual need. I have a particular interest in how our emotional wellbeing and relationships underpin everything we experience. Gaining a better understanding and awareness of how patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours impact on our lives can help us to reshape our future and bring about change. Working together would be a place for you to gain the awareness and insight to move towards living a fulfilling and meaningful life.
I work with individual adults and offer open-ended or time-limited sessions.
I respect diversity and difference whether it is age, gender, ability, sexuality, religion, ethnicity or culture.
Having worked at a managerial level in various commercial businesses for many years I have worked for the past 7 years in the area of emotional and mental health in the charity sector. In my previous career I recognised my focus was always on supporting the emotional wellbeing of the people I worked with. Changing to a career in Counselling was a natural progression for me. I am fascinated with how human anxiety and our life-long relationships underpin everything we think, feel and do. Through my own personal and professional development I have brought about the change necessary to live a fulfilling life and I find supporting and working with others, wishing to do the same, extremely rewarding.
